RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements unless sent home during shift due to low census
• Float requirements: Expected to work in NICU, PICU, Pediatric medical floor, or Peds ED based on patient volumes
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS from AHA only, TNCC or PCAR
• Preferred certification: ENPC
• Minimum 1 year PICU experience post orientation required
• Must be ventilator competent
• Current RN license in Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure
• Patient ratios vary by acuity: Vented/critical patients 1:1, ICU status 2:1, floor status 3:1
• 12-bed unit treating respiratory, surgical, trauma/burn, neurosurgery, sepsis, hematology/oncology and endocrinology patients
• EMR system: EPIC
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
• Dress code: Black scrubs or pediatric appropriate t-shirt with black scrub pants
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
