Adult Psychiatrist needed in San Francisco, California. The Psychiatrist position would be in charge of providing complex care management to 18 years and above population.
This Outpatient Program provides outpatient mental health services with an emphasis on case management. The program follows a harm reduction approach to treatment, delivering service to clients that are sensitive to individual lifestyle and behavioral choices. Services offered are meant to address a wide spectrum of cultural differences as well as the broad array of mental health concerns presented by clients. Treatment goals include the prevention of unnecessary crisis visits and hospitalizations, and promoting the highest level of independent living possible relative to the individual's abilities, desired outcome, and community resources.
Details:
- Locum, 20-40 hours per week (permanent position could also be an option)
- Monday-Friday
- Patient volume: average of 15 patients per day in an outpatient clinic
- 18 years and above patient population
- EMR system is Avatar
- See patients rather than doing admin or supervisory work.
- No telemedicine, all in-person at site.

Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- California State Medical License
