We are seeking an entry-level Industrial Controls Engineer with a focus on system design for custom machinery projects. This role offers hands-on training and mentorship to develop skills in electrical schematics, hardware selection, and control system architecture. Ideal for recent graduates eager to grow in industrial automation.
- Assist in developing control system architectures for custom machinery.
- Support hardware selection and creation of electrical schematics.
- Help prepare documentation including wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on design reviews and integration tasks.
- Participate in installation and commissioning under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (or in progress) or experience in related field.
- Basic understanding of electrical design principles.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or willingness to learn.
- Strong interest in industrial automation and system design.
- Travel: 30% - 50%
- Exposure to industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, ProfiNET).
- Coursework or internship experience in control systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
