• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,260
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (06:45-19:15 or 09:00-21:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
• On-call: Limited to coverage for call-offs
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Floating: May float to similar units or affiliate hospitals
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Parking: Free onsite parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand for auto offer)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for trauma, cancer, pediatric, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, urology, dental, eye, gynecological, vascular, and day surgery patients
• Circulate and scrub a variety of surgical procedures: bariatric, ortho/spine, neuro, gyn, ENT, breast, Ivor Lewis/Whipple, urology, and vascular surgeries
• Utilize advanced surgical technologies including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Mazor Robot Spine, and Stealth
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: radiology, pharmacy, lift teams, and unit secretaries
• Float to similar units or affiliate hospitals as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
