Comprehensive stroke program in Rockford, Illinois seeking neurointerventional coverage with flexible monthly scheduling.
Highlights
- 7 shifts per month; block scheduling allowed
- Neurointerventional and general neurology cases
- Start early 2026; temp privileges available (~60 days)
- All travel, lodging, and malpractice covered
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient
- Inpatient census ~15/day
- Epic EMR
- APPs shared between neurointervention and neurosurgery teams
Schedule
- Weekdays: 12-hour shifts + night call
- Weekends: 24-hour call with 30-minute response time
- Monthly shift customization allowed
Cases and Procedures
- Endovascular and neurointerventional procedures
- General neurology consults and ER transfers
- Acts as CareHub neurology transfer lead
Requirements
- Board Certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology
- Active Illinois license (IMLC not accepted)
- BLS and ACLS required
