Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician 1 to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician 1, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing department supporting critical production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 1
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay Range: $32-33/hr
Shift: Weekend shift: Friday-Saturday-Sunday from 7am to 7:30pm
What's the Job?
- Oversee manufacturing activities in clean room and aseptic environments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare equipment, stoppers, and packaging materials, maintaining meticulous records of processes and results.
- Conduct inspections using semi-automated and manual methods to ensure product integrity.
- Sanitize classified areas and operate autoclaves to maintain sterile conditions.
- Support team members by providing guidance and making independent decisions during processing to meet production goals.
What's Needed?
- Aseptic experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related clean room environments is required.
- Certification for entry into the Aseptic Core and ability to maintain certification is required.
- Strong understanding of equipment preparation, inspection, and sanitization procedures.
- Ability to oversee team activities and ensure process results meet quality standards.
- Excellent decision-making skills and attention to detail.
