- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. Seeking 4 6 providers to meet this coverage need, with preference given to candidates able to work a minimum of five shifts per month, who have weekend availability and can cover the last week of the month; providers must be willing to work nights and weekends, as this is a requirement for consideration. All providers work collaboratively and share shifts, and while night coverage is required, providers will not be assigned to night shifts until they have completed several weeks of day shifts alongside other physicians. Providers must be available for all shift types, which include weekday shifts starting at 7:00 a.m. with rotations ranging from 8 to 12 hours, weekday evening shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., weekday night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with second call from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and first call after 11:00 p.m., weekend day coverage from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and 24-hour weekend call shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. with varying call responsibilities; call is beeper-based and remote on weekends. Guaranteed hours are eight per shift, overtime applies after 12 hours, and all overtime must be pre-approved by the medical director by the end of the shift.
