BCBA Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensures program effectiveness.
- Perform comprehensive initial assessments.
- Plans, manages, coordinates, and evaluates assigned staff efforts to achieve the objectives of the client’s IEP/IFSP.
- Provides only case specific training and supervision of Behavior Technicians.
- Implements the program curricula.
- Managing data regarding the client’s progress.
- Assumes responsibility for recording data daily and reporting client status.
BCBA Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in psychology, special education or related fields.
- Current BCBA certification.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
- Ability to work well with others and be an effective part of a treatment team.
