Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a hospice home health position requiring at least one year of recent PT experience and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a home health setting specializing in hospice care for geriatric patients
- Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day, with further details confirmed during interview
- Schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- On-call required every 6th weekend
- Territory may extend up to a 60-mile radius from the main office
- Use of HCHB EMR required
- iPad provided for documentation and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
- Timely documentation and effective communication are essential responsibilities
- Scrubs in any color are required; jeans are not permitted
- Travelers are expected to cover all cases within assigned territory as needed
Requirements
- Active PT license in hand required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health or hospice PT experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with HCHB EMR is required
- Must be flexible with territory assignments
- Locals are not accepted
