Emergency Medicine Physician

Required Skills:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM residency trained)
- Active ABEM or ABOEM certification
- Licensure in Florida or recognition through IMLC
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight hours
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience managing trauma, neurosurgery, and pediatric emergencies
- Prior work in a high-volume emergency department
- Familiarity with hospital transfer protocols
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine practice preferred
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work outside a 50-mile radius from Port Charlotte
- Valid Florida medical license or eligibility through IMLC
- Impeccable professionalism and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- No overtime, with consistent scheduling to ensure work-life balance
