We areseeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a locumtenens opportunity in Niceville, FL. This position offers the chance to providehigh-quality, acute care in a busy and well-equipped emergency department whileworking alongside a collaborative medical team.
Thisrole involves flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts, including day and nightcoverage. The facility has an annual Emergency Department volume ofapproximately 25,000 visits and features a fully equipped Emergency Departmentwith modern facilities, including access to advanced imaging and diagnostictools. Physicians will be supported by a robust team of emergency departmentphysicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff. Patientdemographics include a mix of adult and pediatric cases presenting with a widerange of acute medical conditions. The facility provides 24-hour physiciancoverage, and documentation is completed using EPIC as the EMR system.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with significant Emergency Medicine experience.
- Active Florida medical license.
- Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
- Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
