This position is for a Locum Tenens Urgent Care Physician in Willoughby, OH, providing emergency and urgent care medical services on a PRN/contract basis. The physician will treat adult and pediatric patients, perform procedures such as suturing and abscess drainage, interpret diagnostic studies, and maintain accurate medical records. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care with an active Ohio medical license and clinical experience.

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care
- Active Ohio medical license required
- Current DEA registration
- BLS certification (can be provided if needed)
- 1 2 years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Family Medicine
- Proficient in procedures such as suturing and abscess drainage
- Ability to interpret diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- Meets eligibility requirements for hospital credentialing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Provide high-quality medical care to adult and pediatric patients in an urgent care/emergency setting
- Maintain patient satisfaction by adhering to service and courtesy standards
- Deliver patient care in compliance with clinical bylaws, hospital rules, and healthcare policies
- Serve as a clinical resource for patients, families, and staff
- Ensure accurate and complete medical records and documentation
- Participate in meetings and activities supporting urgent care operations
- Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications
- Report to the Area Clinical Operations Director
