About the Position
AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Ultrasound in Douglas, Georgia, 31533!
Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred: ARDMS).
- Experience with general, vascular, OB, or breast ultrasound preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer, or equivalent experience.
- BLS certification.
- Client requirement: negative cotinine (no smoking) test prior to start.
- Ability to work both day and night shifts as required by the position, including weekend coverage (position includes combinations of day and night shifts; specific schedule detailed in Assignment Details).
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift details: Days 07:00-18:00 (10-hour shifts).
- Schedule pattern: 4x10 weekend position with shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday; other rotations include combinations of 2 night shifts and 2 day shifts.
- Position requires experience as an ARDMS technologist or equivalent experience in ultrasound specialties noted above.
