Locum Tenens Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician Location: Near Lincoln, Nebraska Facility Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. Our facility is committed to providing exceptional care and is in need of locum tenens coverage starting in December. Job Description: Shifts and Setting: Embrace 8-hour shifts, offering flexibility across 5-7 days per week. You'll work in an Emergency Room (ER) setting, addressing routine ER duties, including code response. While you may encounter some trauma cases, your responsibilities in this area will be limited. EMR System: Experience the convenience and efficiency of the EPIC electronic medical record system, streamlining patient data management and ensuring seamless care delivery. Full-Time Equivalent (FTE): This role offers a full-time equivalent of 5.0, allowing you to immerse yourself in the fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on patient outcomes. Reason for coverage: Join our team during a transitional period, contributing your expertise to maintain continuity of care and ensure that our patients receive the highest level of service. Credentialing Information: Timeframe: 60 days (completed application needs to be returned to facility 48 hours after receipt) Requirements: Case logs from facilities need to be returned ASAP Credentialing with other facilities? University Campus Billing enrollment: No Client Information: Does locum supervise app s? Yes, at NE sites charts are cosigned by Physicians Admits: 17-20% ED responsible for codes: Yes at all campuses except CUMC-BM/UC Specialty Backup/Support: All located at CUMC-BM with an easy transfer center process Dictation: EPIC with Dragon Just Freestanding ED: Yes Hospitalists are on site.
