JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical center in North Carolina is seeking a BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our team. The selected candidate will contribute to the continued growth and development of our heart failure program, including establishing a destination left ventricular assist device (LVAD) center, as well as outreach and clinical support at our three surrounding hospitals within the market. Position highlights:A high volume ambulatory practice with an established referral base and hospital presenceA newly established interventional coronary and vascular interventional program with rapid growthA favorable and balanced call schedule7 weeks combined vacation and CME after attainment of supervisor MD status The position will require high level skills including:Clinical consultative cardiologyProficiency in the management of the entire spectrum of heart failureFellowship training in heart failure including mechanical circulatory support Recent exposure to contemporary management of the heart failure patient through all care transitions is preferred HOSPITAL:A large physician-led organization comprised of physician partners supported by highly skilled professionals to provide assistance and support at every level.
