The ideal candidate will provide the full range of general surgery services, including minimally invasive procedures, and enjoy working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Position Details
- Join a collegial team of 3 experienced General Surgeons with strong APP support
- Busy, hospital-based practice with a diverse case mix and referral base
- Level III Trauma Center and major regional referral center for Southern New Mexico
- Access to two Da Vinci Xi robotic systems
- 11 state-of-the-art operating rooms with flexible block scheduling
- Shared ER call: 1:4
- Clinic conveniently located on the hospital campus
- Supported by a robust hospitalist program allowing focus on consultations and surgical care
- Strong administrative support from hospital leadership
- Teaching opportunities with the Family Medicine Residency and Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine
- Collaborate within a Comprehensive Cancer Center offering clinical trials and multidisciplinary care
