What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the location.
- Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required for incidents occurring at the location.
- Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while carrying out all assigned duties, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
