Our job summary
Structured wage progression and 12-hr 4-on/4-off nights with overtime. Night shift Assistant/Rewinder role; 12-hour nights on a 4 on/4 off rotation (~48 hrs/week) at onsite manufacturing facility; hourly pay $20–$27; ongoing/regular position (no temp length specified). - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid state driver’s license - Prior operation of similar equipment preferred - Good math, reading and mechanical skills - Ability to work independently and in a team

Wage:

  • $20 - $27/hour
  • The position is eligible for a structured wage progression program based on skills, experience and progression mile stones

Hours:

  • 12 hour shifts
  • 4 on 4 off rotation schedule
  • Note: Schedule is approximately 48 hours per week (2,704 annually)
  • Overtime paid in accordance with company policy and applicable law

 

Essential Duties and Tasks

  • Make necessary corrections for and notify operator if non-conforming material is produced.
  • Ensure proper packaging and labeling of finished product.
  • Material movement by hand, forklift, roll handler and shuttle.
  • Responsible for creating internal packing list.
  • Monitor and control of the process and production when operator is absent.
  • Responsible for ensuring the wrapping area is cleaned prior to wrapping rolls.
  • Recycling racks.
  • Set-up and Clean-up machine.
  • Other assignments or tasks as needed.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good math and reading skills required.
  • Prior operation of same or similar equipment preferred
  • Work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, good math and mechanical skills, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized.
  • Valid state issued driver’s license.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated individual who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
