- Practice Setting Emergency department
- Annual ED Volume Approximately 15,000 visits
- Average Daily Volume Approximately 20 patients per day initially, increasing to 40 per day by year one
- Radiology 24/7 CT and X-ray available
- Lab Services 24/7 laboratory services, no blood bank
- Surgical Services Available at Lansing location
Clinical Details- Emergency medicine coverage in a community emergency department
- Evaluation and management of adult and pediatric emergency presentations
- Lower-acuity case mix compared to regional referral centers
- Stabilization and coordination of transfer for higher-acuity cases when needed
- Independent practice environment with standard emergency procedures
Requirements- Board Certification ABEM or AOBEM certified only
- Active Michigan medical license required
- ATLS required with proof from residency
- Open to new graduates
