Westover Job Corps needs a Clinic RN for 13 weeks! Please see information below:
- Participate in the medical examination of students.
- Specimen (blood and urine) collection as needed (phlebotomy).
- Screen patients and refer them to the Center Physician, Health and Wellness Manager, and/or the Center Mental Health.
- Observe, record, and report patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and behavior.
- Perform first aid treatment as needed.
- Assist the physician with patient examinations; prepare patients for tests and examinations.
- Provide guidance to students on personal hygiene.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications as directed.
- Maintain medical equipment and inventory of supplies and medications.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Promote projects that support health and safety throughout the center.
