Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver hospitalist care to admitted patients as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate medications
- Document all patient encounters and clinical activities in accordance with facility policies
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards
Additional Information
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a master's or doctoral degree
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Mississippi required
- Board certification in Hospital Medicine required
- Current DEA registration required
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, or equivalent board
