Job DescriptionThe Cath Lab is a dynamic and high-volume department performing a wide range of cardiovascular and interventional procedures, including diagnostic and interventional caths, TAVR, EP studies, device implants, vascular, and IR cases. Nurses rotate between circulating and monitoring roles, working collaboratively with technicians and physicians in a team-based environment.
Responsibilities- Circulate and monitor during procedures, rotating roles as needed.
- Provide support for various procedures including daily cath lab designated for diagnostic caths and PCI, as well as TAVRs, LAAOs, and EP studies.
- Participate in shared call responsibilities, including 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 4th to 5th weekend.
- Work closely with a team of 2-3 RNs and 1-2 Techs per procedure room.
- Current RN license required.
- Experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
- Specific certifications may be required based on facility policies.
- Compliant with health history requirements including MMR, Hepatitis B, and Yearly TB tests.
