Job Details:

• 1-2 years of operating room experience required
• 1:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Daily census of 20 patients
• 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed
• On-call required: one weekend every six weeks and one night per week
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
• Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities
• Must have Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact license
• Navy scrubs required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Free parking provided
• Required certifications: ABLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: CNOR, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must work with various surgical specialties including gynecology, plastics, trauma, podiatry, orthopedic, general surgery, endoscopic procedures, urology, robotics, ENT, and bariatrics
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and robotic surgeries preferred
• Must be comfortable with blood product administration, cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation monitoring, and various surgical equipment
• Experience with pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations required
• 2 references required from past year (one supervisor level or above)
• Complete Epic training modules and infusion pump/glucometer training before start date

This acute care hospital is a 74-bed facility that provides comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties. The facility features state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped with advanced technology including robotic surgical systems, fiber optic equipment, and modern electrosurgical units. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy support to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical experience.
