We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our esteemed healthcare team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive treatment and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including but not limited to IBD, GERD, and liver disease.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopies and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
• Provide education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventative care.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Active NP license in the state of Illinois
• 1 to 2 years of Gastroenterology experience (preferred)
• Active DEA
