We have an exciting locum tenens opportunity for a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist in the upstate New York area, near Dryden. This position requires a skilled physician to provide high-quality care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be available for several upcoming dates in late 2024 and have a valid New York medical license.
Position Details:
- Location: Near Dryden, NY
- Start Date: November 8, 2024
- Duration: Ongoing
- Shifts: 24-hour call, Monday to Sunday
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
- On-Call Requirements: 24-hour call coverage
Specific Dates Needed:
- 11/08/24 - 11/15/24 (7 AM to 7 AM)
- 11/25/24 - 12/09/24
- 12/23/24 - 12/29/24
Key Responsibilities:
- Acute care management in a hospital setting
- Provide gastroenterology services and take call during shifts
- ERPC experience is a plus but not required
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
Facility Information:
- Trauma Level: Level 3
- EMR System: eClinicalWorks (OP) and Quadramed (IP)
- Credentialing timeframe: 4-6 weeks (emergency privileges available)
- Credentialing costs not covered
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology Required
- Active New York State medical license Required
- BLS and ACLS certifications Required
- Ability to provide references, NPI/license information, and malpractice documentation
