Analog Devices is currently recruiting for the role of Power System Intern within the Datacenter Infrastructure team.
Datacenter infrastructure encompasses the physical and virtual resources that support a data center's operations. This includes hardware like servers, storage, networking equipment, power systems, energy systems, and cooling systems, as well as software for resource management and virtualization. The infrastructure is crucial for ensuring the data center's efficiency, security, and reliability .
The Power Systems Intern candidate should have fundamental knowledge related to a variety of the power system s deployed in today’s data center .
This includes the AC /DC and DC/DC power generation, power distribution, backup, monitoring, management, cooling and optimization.
Under the guidance of a team leader, t he candidate will focus on a problem solution matching their discipline , with a plan to design , build , and test an actual demo solution. The concept would be to analy ze the system solution offer ing disruptive improvements for the data center energy and thermal management operation s using ADI’s portfolio .
The role requires a minimum masters ( PhD preferred) educational level along with some relevant lab-based expertise . The Intern will collaborate cross functionally with mechanical, electrical, and software/firmware engineering teams as well as marketing teams to develop this new innovative concept .
