Position Overview: Seeking experienced Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide high-quality care in a busy emergency department setting. The physician will manage a full spectrum of pediatric emergencies, including trauma and procedural cases, in collaboration with advanced practice clinicians (APCs).
Key Details: - Shift Options: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
- APC Coverage: 10:00 AM 8:00 PM and 2:00 PM 12:00 AM
- Average Patient Volume: Approximately 70 patients per day
- On-Call: None
- Compensation: Fixed rate with daily overtime after 12 hours and weekly overtime after 168 hours
Requirements: - Active Georgia medical license
- Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Emergency Medicine with pediatric experience
- Current ATLS, PALS, DEA certification
- Proficiency in conscious sedation and intubation procedures
