- Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
- Coverage Period: January 5, 2026 Ongoing
- Clinical Shift Schedule: OR 07:3015:00 or 08:0017:00; Clinic 08:3015:30
- On-Call Shift Schedule: Daily call during shift, extends into evening (ends midnight or 6p)
- Call Type: In-House + Telephone
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes COVERAGE DATES
- Starting January 5, 2026 ongoing, part-time coverage

- Patient Volume/Census: 1520 patients/day
- Rounding: Included
- Case Mix: Tonsillectomy, adenoids, tubes, frenulectomy, abscess drainage, myringoplasty, laryngoscopy
FACILITY INFORMATION
- Trauma Level: Level I
- EMR System: Epic
- Specialty Backup Available: Pediatric ENT team (2 surgeons, 2 PAs)
- Reason for Coverage: New position / PTO support

- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: 90 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Illinois license (will accept candidates needing to obtain one)
- Board: BC/BE in Otolaryngology (Pediatric focus preferred)
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year NOTES
- Providers perform clinic/OR work while simultaneously covering call.
- Call responsibilities extend into evening hours.
