Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Special Procedures Tech for a travel assignment in the EP Lab/Cardiac Cath Lab with at least 1 year of recent relevant experience and active licensure.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab settings
- Responsible for adult cardiac and electrophysiology cases
- Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Blocked scheduling may be permitted based on facility needs
- Up to 5 days of requested time off may be allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced rate and specific contract limitations
- Local staff within 50 miles may complete up to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a required 1-year break from the facility or transition to a facility outside the 50-mile radius
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the EP Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab specialty
- Active license required if applicable
- No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of assignment unless scheduled for renewal
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
- No gaps in employment of 90 or more days within the past 12 months
