NICU Details
- 22-bed Level III NICU (private rooms)
- NICU & Newborn ADC: 20
- Deliveries: 1,700/year
- Newborn admissions: 95%
- Advanced neonatal therapies available:
- HFOV
- HFJV
- Inhaled nitric oxide
- Therapeutic hypothermia
- Pediatric surgery available
- No cardiac surgery except PDA ligations
- No ECMO
- 292-bed acute care facility
- NICU opened February 2021
- Part of a larger system including a 466-bed facility with Level I trauma and advanced maternal services
- Current APRN national specialty certification (NNP) - REQUIRED
- Active Virginia license - REQUIRED
- Minimum master's degree - REQUIRED
- Clinically active within the last 12 months - REQUIRED
- Minimum 6 months specialty-specific clinical experience - REQUIRED
