Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Oncology position requiring an active KS or compact RN license and oncology certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the 8T unit specializing in oncology and general surgery
• Patient population includes oncology and general surgery cases
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• RNs are responsible for caring for both oncology and general surgery patients
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the assignment
• Scrub or dress code details will be provided at time of offer

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent specialty experience in Med Surg/Oncology required
• Oncology certification (ONC) required for all RNs working in oncology
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
