The emergency department features 25 beds with modern amenities including Cerner EHR system, 24-hour availability for radiology, laboratory services, and surgical support, providing quality emergency care to approximately 20,000 patients annually.
Opportunity:
NP/PA - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
• 10-hour shifts (11 AM - 9 PM) with autonomous patient care (physician always available for consultation)• Average patient volume of 20 patients per day• Work with existing team of 1 full-time NP and 2 PRN PAs• Provisional Level 4 Trauma designation with approximately 8% admission rate• Respond to house codes and monitor/supervise paramedics/ambulance by radio• Establish transfer protocols with Bay Med (40 minutes away) and Lansing (1 hour 15 minutes away)• Collaborate with specialty consultants including Ortho, OB, General Surgery, Neuro, and Urology• Perform EKG interpretations for in-department EKGs• Must be Board Certified with active Michigan license• ACLS/PALS certification required• Position available from January through April 2026• Must be local to the area (no exceptions)• Clean background required for expedited credentialing• 90-day estimated credentialing timeframe• Provider must clock in/out using DocTime system (reverse billing)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
