Job Details:
• Work five 8-hour shifts per 7-day work week, Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call responsibilities required (determined based on staffing levels for new service)
• Some weekends may be required (determined based on staffing needs)
• Provide technical support and assistance during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures
• Perform scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties with cardiac catheterizations
• Conduct vascular and interventional radiology procedures using clinical knowledge and technical skills
• Assist in holding area and provide pre, during, and post-procedural patient care
• Prepare and maintain all pertinent procedure-related information
• Work in 4-6 bed unit utilizing EPIC charting system
• Dress code requires scrubs
• Graduate from approved school of radiologic technology required
• Two years experience in diagnostic and/or interventional cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or exam eligible at hire
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Clinical competence in cardiac physiology/pathology and 12-Lead EKG interpretation required
• Knowledge of physiologic monitoring, pacemaker operations, and radiographic equipment related to cardiac care
• Complete service partner orientation and department-specific training program
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
