ICU RN Job Details – Phoenix, AZ

• Location: Phoenix, Arizona 85006
• Position: ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing
• Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Level I Trauma Center
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse Contract
• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• End Date: February 9, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 (12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020
• Open Positions: 2 ICU RN jobs available
• On Call: Schedule determined by facility
• Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Current and active Arizona RN license (no license hits)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level I Trauma ICU nursing experience
• Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) – active at time of submission
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license
• Compliance with facility-specific background and credentialing requirements

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, progress, and vital signs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage life-support equipment, and respond to medical emergencies
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
