Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician with specialized training and experience in Hematology and Oncology to join our esteemed medical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to adult patients, managing complex hematologic and oncologic conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
- Administer evidence-based therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as necessary, and address treatment-related complications.
- Provide compassionate patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Collaborate closely with specialists, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary case reviews and tumor boards to ensure comprehensive treatment strategies.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records in compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance, clinical research, and continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, with subspecialty training or certification in Hematology and Oncology.
- Valid medical license for the State of Washington or eligible for licensure.
- Proven experience in managing hematologic and oncologic conditions, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and handle complex cases with professionalism.
