The role involves weekend coverage primarily from Friday to Sunday with flexible 12 to 24-hour shifts and no on-call duties. The physician works alongside midlevel providers, telemedicine critical care, and hospitalists to manage an annual patient volume of approximately 20,000.

>Friday 7a-7a, Saturday 7a-7a and/or Sunday 7a-7a
Shift: 7a-7a (or 7a-7p if your candidate wants, client prefers 24s), able to schedule back-to-back 24s
Call: none
Patient volume: annual volume 20K
>Busiest time is between 12p-12a
Scope: rural ER, stabilize and ship any big cases
>must have case logs within the last 12 months
>2 unassigned OB deliveries in the last 12 months (OBGYN on call)
Hospital: Level IV trauma center
Group/support: 1 midlevel present 12p-12a on-site, critical care telemedicine, hospitalist on-site
Requirements (boards, license): Emergency Medicine residency or Family Practice trained with robust and recent experience (w/in 12 months). Georgia license and Georgia DEA (may consider active IMLCC)
