CLOSED 12.11.2025 Division Head Child and Adolescent Psychiatry We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to assume the role of Division Head for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. This is a unique opportunity for a fellowship-trained, board-certified psychiatrist to lead a division committed to advancing mental health services for young populations. The position is based near Calipso, NC, at a prestigious academic institution known for its innovative approaches in psychiatry and behavioral medicine. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division. Engage in both clinical (50%) and administrative (50%) duties to balance patient care with division management. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with institutional goals. Ensure the optimization of clinic services, focusing on patient access, safety, and quality improvement. Promote a culture of professional development and scholarly activities among faculty and staff. Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain qualified and motivated professionals. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the psychiatry field. Experience appropriate for an Associate Professor or higher academic rank. Background in clinical research and academic healthcare settings preferred.
