About the Opportunity
MedCare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time outpatient primary care position in Mobile, AL . Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care for adults and seniors with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Manage ongoing patient care and preventive health strategies.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR system (within 48 hours of each visit).
- Collaborate effectively with specialists, hospitalists, and care coordination teams.
- Supervise or collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as needed.
- Ensure adherence to all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Active and unrestricted AL medical license (or ability to obtain).
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- At least 3 years of outpatient primary care experience preferred.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication, diagnostic, and patient-relationship skills.
