This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible physiatrist to join Geisinger's nationally recognized Musculoskeletal Institute in Pennsylvania, focusing on high-quality patient care, research, and education in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The role includes multidisciplinary collaboration, opportunities for clinical innovation such as electrodiagnostics and ultrasound-guided procedures, and participation in a PM&R residency program. Job Duties
The PM&R Department resides within the nationally recognized Geisinger Musculoskeletal Institute:
- Home to the leading academic Level I tertiary referral center with over 50 fellowship-trained specialists
- Consists of seven PM&R specialists which has doubled in size since 2017 to match the growing community needs
- Residency awarded 10-year accreditation during initial site visit in 2020
- Participate in cutting edge research including exoskeleton and virtual reality in rehabilitation efforts that support the vision of the Musculoskeletal Institute
