Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT(CT) certification and at least 2 years of CT experience for a day/evening position.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based diagnostic imaging setting specializing in computed tomography procedures
- 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 8:30 AM–9:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–10:30 PM) with every 4th weekend required
- Holiday rotation and on-call rotation are required
- May be required to flex hours and work overtime to meet patient care needs
- Performs diagnostic CT procedures and related techniques, including administering x-radiation and IV contrast
- May be asked to perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable radiographic exams if assigned
- Responsible for patient preparation, positioning, education, and ensuring patient safety
- Contributes to supply management, equipment decisions, and provides practical instruction for students and team members
- Adheres to universal protocol, standard precautions, and applies appropriate patient identifiers
- Holiday and on-call coverage are expected as part of the schedule
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
- ARRT Radiography and ARRT Computed Tomography registration required
- Active IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
