Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• 2 years relevant experience required
• Weekend hours and call requirements as required by facility
• Float requirements as needed by facility
• Required licensure: Advanced registry (CI, VI, RCIS) OR ARRT (R)
• Required certification: BLS from AHA only
• Work with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Dress code: Black scrubs required; no torn clothes, open-toed shoes, or non-scrub attire
• Perform diagnostic and invasive procedures of various anatomy and pathology
• Support care team during procedures including scrub assistance and recording images
• Operate special procedures imaging equipment to produce optimal quality examinations
• Administer contrast materials for patient exams and review medication reconciliation forms
• Operate oxygen, suction, blood pressure and other essential patient care equipment
• Observe patients before, during and after procedures using appropriate immobilization and transfer devices
