Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases, performing diagnostic tests, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure quality care. The physician also participates in research, quality improvement, and shares on-call duties within the group.
Non-Invasive Cardiology near Raleigh and Durham, NC
- BE/BC required. Fellowship training in Cardiology
- Group practice with multidisciplinary approach and mission of advancing cardiovascular health with their patients
- 10 provider group private practice setting. Group has non-invasive and interventional cardiologists plus primary care providers, Geriatrics, APP s and a Podiatrist/wound care doctor.
- Group has three office locations within 30-60 minutes of Raleigh and Durham, NC
- Salary will be competitive with national and regional compensation
- Call is shared equally among the providers
- Patient Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and heart failure.
- Testing and Diagnosis: Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
- Procedures: Conduct minimally invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures, as applicable.
- Education and Counseling: Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, prevention strategies, and treatment plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Research and Development: Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and the development of evidence-based protocols.
- On-call Duties: Provide on-call services on a rotational basis to address urgent patient needs.
