The Hospitalist Physician provides inpatient care with a work schedule of 10 shifts per month including day shifts and night call phone triage, occasionally returning for ICU admits. The role requires skills in ventilator management, central line placement, intubation, and comfort handling code situations in a solo practice environment within a 70-bed hospital. Credentialing is mandatory and board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine is preferred.
