Requested Skill Set: Cardiac drips, telemetry, and neurology experience
Must have: NIHSS, Stroke experience, ACLS
Advanced skills needed: Cardiac drips, basic dysthymia
Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 24 Patient Ratios : 1:3-4 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Charge Nurse, Unit Secretary, and PCT Type of equipment : Alaris IV Pumps, SCD machines, Hill Rom beds, GE monitor in each room, Wound Vacs, Temporary Pacemakers, Telemetry monitor, EKG Machine, Bladder Scanner, Doppler, Imobile for communication between team members; Ventilatorys for tracheostomy patients Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: Must work full time hours including 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period. Floating policy: Contract Nurses may be floated to any unit in which they have demonstrated competency. Patient Experience requirements: Must align with our patient experience goals by treating every patient with courtesy and respect and to be responsive to the call light (using patients preferred name, making personal connections, involving the patient in bedside shift report, teaching the patient how to use the phone to call nurse directly, and to always ask if there is anything else you can do before leaving the room). Hospital Specifics- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
