Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Civic Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a highly visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report observations according to site procedures.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement as needed.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines for armed patrol officers while on duty.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
