Urgent Need: Interventional Cardiologist for Multi-Block Call Coverage in Idaho We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment near Weiser, Idaho. This position provides 24-hour inpatient call coverage only, with no clinic responsibilities. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional, timely cardiac care while working alongside a strong inpatient support team. Coverage Dates: Dec 2 (7 AM) Dec 8 (7 AM) Dec 23 (7 AM) Jan 5 (7 AM) Jan 22 (7 AM) Jan 28 (7 AM) Feb 18 (7 AM) Feb 24 (7 AM) Mar 19 (7 AM) Mar 25 (7 AM) Apr 16 (7 AM) Apr 21 (7 AM) Responsibilities: Manage all inpatient interventional cardiology cases (avg. 3 consults & 2 procedures/day). Perform PCI procedures; TEE skills preferred. Utilize balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, and IFR. Respond to STEMI activations (avg. 3/week). Collaborate with APP support: 1 2 on weekdays, 1 for 5 hours/day on weekends. Facility Details: Trauma Level II facility 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, 10 CMU beds Requirements: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine or Cardiovascular Disease. Active Idaho license or IMLC eligibility. COVID-19 vaccination required. Clean malpractice record. Local candidates preferred (limited travel support). Ability to cover most or all posted dates.
