Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a General Manager in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant, with $5mm+ in annual revenue
- Proven passion for hospitality and guest-focused service
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Current ServSafe Certification required
- Allergen Awareness Certification required
Must Haves:
- Direct oversight of high-volume daily operations in a waterfront or destination-style restaurant
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, mentor, and retain management and hourly teams
- Strong collaboration with ownership to drive profitability, labor control, and operational efficiencies
- Ability to lead guest recovery efforts with professionalism, urgency, and emotional intelligence
- Experience balancing elevated food quality (including sushi programs) with speed, consistency, and service standards
Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in restaurants known for creative, chef-driven menus and high execution standards
- Track record of improving team engagement, performance, and internal promotions
- Financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, and cost controls
- Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Background in waterfront, coastal, or destination dining concepts
