ER RN Job Details

• Location: Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (Upstate New York)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract (Start by 12/8/2025, End 3/7/2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1990-$2130
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Employment Type: Travel nursing, On-Site
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license
• Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience
• Proven experience as a crisis evaluator for mental health patients in the ED
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting system
• Successful completion of on-site, closed-book, timed ECG exam (study materials provided)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious documentation accepted if submitted 10 days before start)
• Facility physical required (cost $96)
• County Restrictions: Candidates cannot reside in Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany counties
• Not eligible if employed as staff at this facility in the past year or full-time within AMC network in the past six months

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Conduct crisis evaluations for mental health patients
• Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support
• Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
