About the Role:
This role is responsible for driving Airgain’s growth strategy by identifying and activating new business opportunities through strategic partnerships. The candidate will help drive revenue growth through promoting and selling production programs of Airgain Products and solution in China. This candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and collecting market information and digging out potential customers and new projects as well as establishing and maintaining closed business relationships with target customers.
Essential Function:
- Identify and establish new strategic partnerships
- Work with internal Marketing team to execute joint go-to-market opportunities with key accounts
- Qualify customer inquiries and strategically align them with the most suitable system integrator partner to drive successful deal closure
- Serve as the strategic interface between Airgain and key partners - owning relationship development, and executive alignment
- Influence internal roadmap and GTM plans by capturing field intelligence from partner and customer engagements
- Work closely with internal marketing teams to build and foster partners MDF programs
- Work closely with executive leadership on strategic objectives and annual revenue targets
- Drive to meet the result from business plan and cost budget
- Improving product knowledge
- Present and sell Airgain products and solution in China
- Prepare sales plan, timetable and resources to set priorities in order to meet target
- Solicit concrete inquiries and identify sales possibilities for our products
- Closely follow up on pending projects
- Liaise with principals and customers to satisfy both needs
- Manage accounts from sales forecast to business development
- Reduce costs involving sales activities
- Assist in conducting marketing research, data collection and business analysis
- Assisting Marketing in preparing the trade show and seminars
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Education level: university graduate, preferably with industrial engineering background or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the IT industry
- Experience selling Design Services a plus
- Experienced in the Telecom/IOT/Automotive industries with related networks and familiarity with markets and end products
- Experience in preparing contract and order execution
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets and grow business year over year
- Business development and solution selling experience
- Proficiency in written & spoken English
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, word, PPT)
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with partners and new customers
- Ability to write clearly and informatively and vary writing style as needed to target a variety of different audience members
- Ability to present and communicate numerical data effectively
- Ability to support and explain reasoning for decisions
- Ability to travel over 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally, as needed. Must have the ability to obtain and hold a valid passport.
