Job DescriptionThe Medical Surgical RN will provide direct patient care, ensuring a high level of service quality and safety in the Medical Surgical Unit. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and supporting the healthcare team in various aspects of patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients of all ages in the Medical Surgical Unit.
- Monitor patient vitals and evaluate their conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EHR.
- Active RN licensure in Virginia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical environment.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care, NIH.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure.
